We expect the same Apache update to become available in other OSes next, and we are working hard to ship our fix ahead of it. Security updates are highly important, however we suggest that Plesk customers refrain from installing the newest Apache web server from Ubuntu updates before the above mentioned fixes are available.
We will also ship today a manually applied fix for the previous version 18.0.37, and a regular fix tomorrow, to address the issue automatically. Our team works hard to ship a permanent fix during today for the latest version (18.0.38) which will address the issue automatically. If you have been already affected by this, find here the immediate fix.
A range of our Ubuntu customers are facing a problem of error 500 on their sites as a result of a recent security fix in the Apache web server shipped last night in Ubuntu OS conflicting with the current Apache web server config.
